DIY custom canvas!
Hello! So how expensive is a canvas? In my experience they are way too much money and I'm always looking to save a buck! Besides that, I have a HUGE fireplace that was screaming for some artwork. My problem is we have a round, odd-shaped fireplace with a very skinny mantle. With those issues, I went straight to my handyman husband. I had him measure the spot I wanted on the fireplace and he made me a frame that I wrapped myself with duck cloth. Vuala...Instant custom canvas! I'll never buy one again (never say never I guess). All you'll need is duck cloth for the canvas, 2x2 lumber for the frame, staple gun, acrylic gesso for priming the cloth, a paint brush, some creativity, and if possible, a handyman to put the frame itself together. The rest you can do! Have fun with it...I DID!!!

DIY chunky necklace
